Carved Basswood body is mounted to a SET maple neck for an incredibly solid design that can take as much abuse as you can throw at it. EASTWOOD ICHIBAN. Over the past five years Eastwood Guitars has been producing the worlds finest reproduction Vintage Guitars. Now, for the first time, They have developed their own model. The name - ICHIBAN - is Japanese for Number One - our first original design. It all started two years ago when we made a wall clock from an upside-down Japanese Teisco Del Ray. It looked kinda cool, so they decided to create a new guitar based on that shape. We added our favorite features - a Galanti Headstock, Mosrite fret markers and roller bridge, a Johnny Ramones shaped pickguard equipped with Mini Humbuckers.
