Fender craftsmen have reproduced Cobain’s battle-hardened left-handed Jaguar down to the last unusual detail, including its worn finish, dual humbucking pickups and unique electronics and controls (which were already in place when Kurt acquired the guitar in summer 1991). The Time Machine Series 1961 Strat is an exact reproduction of the Strat that set the the music world on fire during the 60's, and features a nitrocellulose lacquered alder body "C"-shaped maple neck with narrow clay dot spacing Round laminate Rosewood or Maple B 7.25 radius. Kluson style tuners and wing string tree 60's fender Strat logo with patent numbers. If you do not see a stock finish you like and would like to custom order it call immediately as cold orders take 8 months or so. Guitars should start shipping last October. For Pick guard change add $50. We like gold parts but that places a $500 extra end charge on the guitar. Looks like these will be the last of the Custom Shop non- Master Builts for a while.
