Airline left handed guitars have a classic sound and feel to them. These guitars are prefect for playing in at home or on tour.
NATIONAL MAP Guitars were made in the USA from 1958-64 by VALCO and sold through Montgomery Ward. This AIRLINE® MAP is a tribute to the NATIONAL Newport Guitar from 1962. Today they are played by people like David Bowie, The Cure, Calexico and White Stripes.
One of the early "student" guitars found in North American Catalogs in the 1960s. This model was available under the brands of Airline, Supro, Kay and many others. This new Eastwood release is based on the original 1960′s AIRLINE Bighorn, it features an updated adjustable bridge, truss rod and the modern popular Diamond Argyle single coil pickups.
Airline H44 La Bamba Left Handed. The 1950's Stratotone H44 was one of the coolest blues/slide guitars ever made that featured a short body with a FAT neck. The originals are becoming very hard to find and hard to play! We’ve improved the pickups and the stability of the neck but kept all the vintage appeal of the original. Better than the real thing!
Eastwood's tribute to the SUPRO® Dual Tone. SUPRO® Guitars were made in the USA from 1958-68 by VALCO and sold through Montgomery Ward. VALCO also made National and AIRLINE brands. Today they are played by people like The Cure, Calexico, Raconteurs and White Stripes.
The Airline Jupiter is reminiscent of the late 1950's Silvertone Jupiter model. The unique hollow-body design without F-Holes combine with the Airline ARGYLE Single coil pickups to produce a unique tone reminiscent from many early electric guitars from the 50's and 60's. The Jupiter is capable of producing clean or distorted tones without feedback.
